Carlton Carriers (CCL) are a family run professional and flexible haulage company working with customers from across the UK. Initially based at our premises in Carlton, Barnsley (hence the name Carlton Carriers Ltd). The company then moved to its current location at Manvers, Rotherham. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and our competitive approach to ensuring the job is always completed.

Professional, friendly and family run
After two decades working in UK and European general haulage, Roy and his sons Mark and Paul decided to start Carlton Carriers. The business was started to serve the needs of a large manufacturer of industrial and domestic pipework and fittings that had two factories nearby and a warehouse at Carlton, Barnsley; this still accounts for a large part of Carlton Carriers work. In 2017 Marks son Harry joined the family firm and soon progressed from multi drop deliveries on the van to passing his heavy goods and started driving the arctics at the tender age of just 20 years. With Harry now very much part of the team Carlton Carriers is now in third generation.
